Share The Joy And Not The Junk: A Different Approach To Gifting This Holiday!

Is it just us, or are you starting to look at the holiday season a littler differently? If you loooove the holidays like we do but want to celebrate it  without any of the guilt over the impact you're having on the environment, take a read through some simple swaps we are introducing into our holiday, maybe they will inspire you too!

What's The Meaning of Giving?

Let's remind ourselves what the meaning of the Christmas spirit is!  The intention behind gift giving is to show our loved ones and community members how much we love and appreciate them. Buying for buying sake can end up producing more 'junk' in someone's home, that ultimately can ultimately further unnecessary waste in planet, right?

Gone are the days of wasteful gifting, we're here to talk about unique and sustainable gifts for everyone on your list!  For the teachers, therapists, coworkers and extended family in your life; it's time to give something more meaningful than a Starbucks gift card, or chocolate!.  Consider gifting something beautiful and useful gifts that are budget friendly and will be around longer than a minute; like our beeswax wraps, lotions or balms (especially those constantly sanitizing at work!), our divine linen spray or trendy reusable paper towels.

For people who seem to “have it all”, or your older relatives who already have too much “stuff”, we such you gift an experience!  Tickets to the local theatre or sporting event, certificate for a restaurant or spa, or handmade voucher for an outdoor experience with you will create lasting memories and can be much more meaningful!

Subscription services are a gift that keeps on giving and is often a fun way to gift something that is actually needed; like a Clean Crate subscription that delivers all of their household cleaning essentials right to their door!

If they love sweets, perhaps make a simple treat instead of buying a box of individually wrapped chocolates (the wrappers are terrible for the environment!)
